WELCOME TO WMIP FILM CLUB

We meet regularly online (once every couple of months) and bring analytic thinking to discussions on a range of films. Films are introduced by the proposer who invites the group members into an exploration from a psychological perspective.

This film is available to watch on Prime Video £2.49, Apple TV £3.49, Google Play £2.49, You Tube £2.49, Sky Store £3.49, Rakuten £3.49.

Starring: Paul Giamatti, Da’Vine Joy Randolph and Dominic Sessa

THE HOLDOVERS

The Holdovers is a comedy drama set in 1970 in a New England Boarding School. It tells the story of a strict Classics teacher, a grieving cook and a troubled student who are forced together whilst stranded at the school over a Christmas break. Eventually, unlikely bonds are formed through their shared experiences of loss and need for connection.

It has won plaudits from critics and viewers alike for its heartwarming story line and powerful performances.
