Those working clinically in private practice, in the NHS or a mental health charity as a psychotherapist, psychologist or counsellor, with a professional psychodynamic qualification and registered with UKCP, BPC, BPS, BACP, HPCS or NCPS.  Those working in other modalities will be welcome to apply if they can demonstrate that they have a particular interest in analytic thinking or have completed further psychodynamic or analytic training.

Please complete and return the below application form, optional equal opportunities form and include the following supporting information:  

  • Proof of qualification and registration with UKCP, BPC, BPS, BACP, HPCS or NCPS
  • Two references, one from a UKCP, BPC, BPS, BACP, HCPS or NCPS registered supervisor
  • CV
  • Proof of insurance, or if employed, proof of employer’s insurance
  • Proof of professional will
  • Signed acceptance of WMIP Code of Ethics
  • Statement of complaints past or pending
  • Statement of reasons for wishing to join WMIP
  • Application fee: £50 (we will issue an invoice once your completed application form has been received)
